Giclee Prints also referred to as pigment prints

My watercolor paintings are reproduced using a pigment printing process because it accurately duplicates the luminous quality of my watercolor washes.
My limited edition prints are printed on a heavyweight archival watercolor paper. The inks used are archival pigmented inks. The longevity of the inks is the same as that of my watercolor paints. Each print is signed and numbered.
Greg Ortega produces my pigment watercolor prints. He is a maestro of color. His company Gamma One prints the highest quality prints for museums and individuals. I've worked with Greg for many years and his ability to reproduce the colors in my watercolor paintings is phenomenal!

I would like viewers of my watercolor paintings to experience them from their perspective without the interjection of my concepts and work process. The hope is for the viewer to enter a dialogue with the art that avoids preconceived notions or my conceptual influences. Art is about the experience, both in the creation and in the viewing of it.

“Paintings must be understood through the eyes, and that's not the word either. No writing, no talking, no singing, no dancing will explain them. They are the final, the nth whoopee of sight."
Charles Demuth
